Accelerator pedal

Hello everyone, seen someone’s post on FB commer campers about his accelerator pedal not operating correctly, driving mine down to my workshop “down the garden !”, I noticed something wrong with mine so I checked all the linkages and cable all ok so removed the pedal from the floor and put it in the vice to find the roll pin had broken both sides of the pivot but to look at it you wouldn’t know!, best check yours ??. I managed to get the old pin out all 3 bits !! and fitted a new one. Here’s a couple of pictures showing the amount of movement before the repair

No. My throttle needed a longer travel so the rod that goes across the van has been shortened and now uses a speedboat throttle cable up to the Holley carb.
