Jimmie Nicol also played drums for The Beatles, albeit briely on their Australian tour whilst Ringo was ill

Also Billy Preston was resident on keys during the Let It be & Abbey Road sessions and was rumoured to have been proposed by Lennon as a full member but vetoed by McCartney
