It's funny I am thinking about stopping my tv license, not being able to watch the bbc I player would cause my teenage daughter a few problems. I do think the license is just a tax from the government.

I think I would pay even if it was optional - 90% of what I watch and listen to is on the beeb. ITV is shockingly bad, 4 and its variants are mainly overhyped "documentaries" and American TV you can get from an online service and lets not even mention 5!!
