A Rare Old Oil Burner

The 'other one' isn't the same one by any chance. Looking at the information provided by 'thompsons' on the other thread, theirs is a 1967 oil burner too.

No the other one was definitely green, the old Perky must have been standard for the conversion.

I'm assuming the later dash was added later as an upgrade, I'd put it back as it should be.

Looks like a Highwayman. I wonder if it was at a show, he's got his show board out for the occasion:)

Yes you are correct it is the same old green one that was for sale about a year ago that we bought and started to restore. My wife sorted out the interior but we have run out of time / effort/ energy for the mechanicals and have decided to sell.
Yes it is a Highwayman in the background, 1973 petrol, that we have been working on too.The buyer who came to view today liked both and couldn't decide which one !

Ahh my mistake, the grey looks original in the pics - maybe it is the lone survivor:( Lovely van and a pity you've decided to sell it's so characterful and, as it's the only one, unique. Your wife has made a nice job of the interior, looks bright and fresh- someone is going to get a cracker:cool: Will you be keeping one of the vans?
