A Frame towing - heads up

Hello all,

We've been dragging one of the commers on a car transporter trailer recently for hire work. Bit sick of the lolloping about of a heavy trailer so investigated towing A frames to take advantage of lower center of gravity and better stability.

I took a punt after taking advice from several who had towed heavy vans behind heavy vans. Long term I was going to invest in a brake system to link to the tow vehicle to comply with the towing regulations.

But... it didn't work. As I have read a small minority of vehicles, they just wont cooperate with the A frames and steering wont follow the tow vehicle. On slow/big corners the commer seems to freak out a bit.

Anyway just a heads up incase it was something people were wondering about, was a costly learning exercise.
