A couple of silly questions

1/ Where does everyone store there tables when not in use?
2/ I assume the cap next to the drivers seat and the drivers door is for the water tank.
a) is this correct?
b) I have a pump under the sink with a small attachment of hose coming off it, where does this go.

I said in my previous messages I am a campervan virgin and I am now proving that I think:I

Hi Tich, some pics would be useful as different conversions have different storage. The Autosleeper has a hinged compartement behind the rear bench on the drivers side against the side of the van where the table lives.

hi tich,i only have 1 table,it either stays up or i put it out of the way in the wardrobe, but i may have to see if it fits where panky suggest!my cap is where yours is for water, but i have no tank there as it has probably been removed due to corrosion.i have a portable one,to put under the van, then i attach a hose to the pump.(next to the waste pipe from sink)some one said their water tank had been changed to fuel?cant remember who though?the hose either goes to the tank or tap at sink?

Hi Tich, in my Highwayman the table goes above the cab when not in use or forms part of the bed base if required.
Yes the water tank filler neck is behind the drivers seat adjacent to the handbrake lever.
The water pump pipe on my van did run down throught the floor and over to the O/S, where the water tank was situated, but ive removed it now and shall replace it with a smaller water tank.

any more questions?

:D

Oh my highwayman doesn't have any table at all just a board to make the bed with :(can someone post a pic of what type of table I should have please.

Hi again Tich. Is the under floor water tank still there? As Chris says they don't last forever and I wouldn't like to drink the water out of one [xx(]. Is the short hose under the sink attached to the tap? if it is then there was probably a five gallon water container squeezed into the cupboard (a bit more hygienic than the underfloor steel ones), the short piece of hose would have gone into it.

i take my 5 gallon tank out of the cupboard, put it under the van then attatch the hose, there is also a small bent copper pipe which attatches to the waste pipe under the van to divert the flow away from part of the van into waste container.when i got "ran" i saw it in the cupboard & thought what on earth is that for,i realised when i poured some water down the sink, then run round to see where it came out!
