Don't recognise the van, but the forum gets a positive mention.

If you copy the pictures into a word document, you can enlarge them, but too much and they get grainy. Rear corner needs sorting, but drivers door still has flute.

Alternatively if you just increase screen size on your browser you can enlarge them;)

Holding down the ctrl key then + does it for me.

Ok, I admit it, sometimes there is an simple way and a complicated way. I may have chosen the complicated way, but that is because I am simple! That, or the fact that I already have my browser enlarged to save me having to look for my glasses - it's my age you know! :)

It's only because my 18 year old daughter showed me HAHAHAHA:D;):I

Hi guys
Does this look like an amateur-ish project? Seems like a fair amount of rusty bits needs replacing (definitely driver floor since seller refers to flinstones...)? Not sure how much money we are talking about here, but I have a feeling that it is much worse than what it looks like. I've asked the seller for few more details.
I'm looking for an ok-ish autosleeper (either with MOT or requiring little work) but I don't see many offers out there. I presume more will show up at the end of the "summer"...

Hi Isaak, they are out there but not that many in comparison with 'the other' type. Unfortunately you'll be very lucky for the 'right van' to come along so it could be a case of biting the bullet and going for what is available. This one does appear to need a fair bit of work but you might get lucky and bag a bargain - is there any chance you can go and see it? Most of us on here are amateures so I guess it depends on you experience and skill level, lets just say if you've worked on cars before Commers are as straight forward as you can get to restore lower body and chassis wise - it's just that there's a lot of it:I

How refreshing

Thanks for your comment!
I think I am amateur compared to you guys, but maybe I'm wrong. I've worked a lot with my old 2 wheeled british machine. But that has mainly been mechanical, rebuilding gearbox and bits and pieces. I've never done soldering, replacing panels or anything like that. And THAT's what scares me lol I'll try to arrange a viewing, but haven't got own transport, so a several hours trip is a pain nowadays! :)

I remember seeing some bids, the owner must have removed the ad since there were still days to go before the end. I was told someone had offered £600 but he was looking at something closer to £800. A deal must have been closed before the end of auction.
