Nice looking van there. Again, cmon Radar, just because you have given up the smokes it doesn't mean you should be slacking...........I'm getting worried about the frequency settings on your Radar mate. Think they need some fine adjustments HAHAHAHAHA! Good work Mark;)

Lol, have already spoke to him and will be viewing early next week, so the Radar is working fine ( Apart from the FREE!!! Van it didn't pick up, lol )
My Radar is on stealth mode :D

That's the spirit fella;) let's face it, we all would have had that Commer if it was going for free wouldn't we ,despite already owning one. This ones looking fairly decent. Good luck and hope this could be the one!

I was just in a foul arsed mood that day anyway, then sort of lost the plot. :I. As someone said Nick was in the right place at the right time and well done that man.
Will have a look at this one, but i must admit it will prob need more work than i have the time for, got dollar in the bank, so really waiting for a ready made Van.
Will i make Commerfest, Dunno, not gonna rush to get any old van for that, will be plenty of other get togethers. :D

Dollar in the bank after all those holiday's/Stag doos etc? Lucky git you. And your not keen on the one in Scotland then? If you have Dollar mate then why not get a van on the cheap, such as the ones that are around at the mo and just do it up slowly? Save a lot of money in the long run. It's not as though you can't obtain parts etc is it;)

M8 moving house soon, got a fair bit of work abroad coming up, just don't think i will have the time to do anything up apart from a new bloody house ( Things i do to keep the peace ;) ) So i will just see what comes round, like i said i have the rule of only bidding if i have seen it with me own eyes, and i can't get to Scotland at the Mo.
It will all come good, glass half full and all that :)

Viewed it, too much work for me and going for to much money.
Chap who is selling thought a realistic price of £550 for it was the figure he was going to get, but i reckon around £1500 will be reached on fleabay.

Be careful @@@@ this has been well "bidded up"[B)] You'll have to bid well over it's value to get this one.[V]

Yep and this is how it works.

Let's say for example an item is sat at £100. I then put £200 on it, but the increment only goes up to say £105. The shill bidder ( The person who's selling it has 2 or more e-bay accounts ) then puts a silly bid on of perhaps £400 or whatever. He's then winning his own item of course...........But he then gets to see what the last bid was, which is mine at £200!!! He then retracts his bid and puts another one on of £195...This way i'm still winning it but all he has done is bumped my bid right up to the hilt:(

Not fair is it.

i didnt know you could retract a bid once you put one on. how do you retract a bid then. because i bidded on something the other day and asked the seller if he had a buy it now price, he said he wanted the auction to run the course, but theres no one else bidding on it at the mo and not long left to go, but i think i went a bit high first time round to try and win it, now i dont want to be had over like this other one mentioned so want to lower my offer and see what happens.;)[?]

Earlier this week, a guy was taken to court over this. He was found guilty [:(!] Can't remember what happened to him, but the courts took it very serious.

Martin,

I think if you click on "bids" then on your own bid there should be an option somewhere. I'm at work so can't log on to eBay! Alternatively, use the "Help" function and search for something like "cancel my bid".

Peggy drinks too much!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

when i complained to the seller he replied it was not his fault my bid was high...[)]

guess he's gutted now [}:)]

just shows they all have "big eyes" for this site ,

looking to exploit the unwary,

the world economy could have been saved if the government had snapped them up @ £100 a pop:D
