What may be a stunning interior in the eyes of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen may not appeal to all tastes. My first reaction was pity they didn't have enough material to do the cushions.

I wonder if they shop at Harry Enfield's shop 'I saw you coming'?

I know, I'm a Phillistine! ;)

Just noticed the buy it now price, £6,500. Peak looks a bit suspect to me and front door is missing flutes. There is also no mention of mileage or MOT.

For that money, I would want orange curtains and plenty of formica. I've not heard of a bakelite sink before either.

I just worry that someone will go and view it and sit in the back thinking how wonderful and retro/twee it is without checking out mechanicals

I hope that if someone does go to view it they don't think all commer people are like that one and give up on the thought of buying a commer

Not my cuppa, got to be dreaming at that BIN!
At least its not bland!

Wheres my headache pills...

Well...alright then, maybe just a little...

Wouldn't take too much to get looking a bit more pleasant. Recover the cushions, wallpaper... Apple boxes could stay though! [8D]

I wonder if it's been used commercially. In picture 2 there is no sign on the door but in some of the other pictures they have the sign about dinners on the door plus there is the cases for pop and the seat covers. Bet it's been used as a canteen van.

I wouldn't read too much into that - there is also a "rooms for rent" postcard

Perhaps they were trying to use the poor girl as a business venture, meals on wheels during the day and bed and breakfast at night.
