true. either that or bid was removed by seller because buyer did not have any feedback at all... but who knows. I'd definitely go for a viewing if it did not involve a 5h trip [V] Have asked some details, hopefully I'll get an answer soon.

From the listing:

Retracted: £2,559.00
Explanation:Entered wrong amount

i would say it isn't far off what its worth :/ personal opinion really but i suppose the 12 month mot attracts a lot of people :) inner peak is above the windscreen mate, where it overhangs the screen and comes of the roof. This would mean replacing gutter section too by the look of it

Not heard back yet, still hoping to though and will let you know as soon as I do. Appreciate any help you can give. May travel down myself if its possible to see it.

Why would he think it was wasting his time though?? If I'm looking at spending four figures on something he's selling then it's not a waste of either his or my time as far as I can see.

yeh thats cool mate.no i went to see a car for someone before and the guy got real funny lol but yeh just let me know mate.more than happy to help :)

Spoke to the seller and The only advisories were the kingpins (both sides) and he said the body work is in need of work.
Kingpins????? Big problem or not ?

I would not worry too much about kingpins being an advisory as most testers would not know how to check them properly anyway. If they are kept well greased they are unlikely to get any worse and they should always have a tiny bit of movement anyway, if they are reamed and fitted too tightly they can seize as they wont take grease!

Bloody Commer`s!

First time I took Harvey he got an advisory on a kingpin, now I give them an extra greasing just before I go to the MOT and not mentioned since:)

Kingpins usually won't need replacing unless they've been neglected over a long time. Usually they don't get greased regularly. I'm assuming that Commer kingpins are at least vaguely similar to ones I've experienced in the past on Tin Snails :I

Usually they'll appear to have a lot of play, but its a sign they need greasing and not excessive wear.

Ooohhh matron... grease those kingpins... [}:)]

Crikey that front peak section around the top of the windscreen looks well bogged up an pretty shot.....sliding doors are cool tho!!!!

should have got me one of these a long time ago!!!
