There was a time when I was considering a vw camper, and even considering a resto project, due to the prices. Then I happened to visit hope cove in Devon and saw the dodge striped commer there and was immediately converted. A year later our commer is ready for its second NOT with us. Yes there have been problems, but am So, so glad I have a commer. I have nothing against vw's except the prices, and am watching the final price for the splittie, hoping that it increases another 100 or so, so that it sells for more than what I paid for our commer.
