Hi .. Has any more info on a car camper model like is there many left or photos ? The step floor lifts up giving you the bed area plus a single which sits on side cupboards I will take some photos later for everyone ! Gonna keep it but I which I had the money to keep the autosleeper ! Guttered but this 1961 is a rare and early commer ..

in my personal opinion it would be a shame to lower or indeed modify in anyway such a rare van especially since we lost one when telfordbobs van got torched. in the interests of balance our van is modified inside and out but its not a rare van. just my thoughts:)

I know what you mean mate it is a rare van but i dont really like the ride when there normal hight i can always but it back to standerd if i ever sell it ..

No mate just need some u brackets and move the leafsprings under the axle and a couple of brackets for support ..

Autosleeper is back home for the weekend and have been cleaning up the 61 found out how the bed works you have to fold down the seats then lift the whole floor up from the step end to bulk head so you dont need curtins to stop people looking in from the front it a wick

It looks fantastic and the bed is a great design[8D] but there is a drawback, you loose all that storage under the bench seats:I But if you leave the bed made up under the false floor it makes up for it a bit.
