Ok lovers and sinners not much in the way of progress so to speak but a HUGE leap forward in terms of finishing touches and the van being put back together
Just need to make good of the Tigerseal bead once it's dry and then prime it up[^]

Had a call from the Paintshop today to let us know that the paint we are going for is a perfect match to our fabric choice too I still have plenty to do yet, but i'm enjoying Pia again, and can start to see a light at the end of a bloody long tunnel

Been on the van again today after a 70 mile round trip to my local Machine Mart for a few essentials. Anyway, this is all primed up now and isnt going to rust obviously HAHA!
Did the drivers door bottom too as it needed some light treatment.
Then i thought i'd tackle the front valance as it was a bone of contention that i was trying my damndest to ignore......Things got the better of me and i decided to have a wee looky...Not good
Got the ole trusty grinder out and started to cut away the rot.
The Cill behind it is great and needs no work at all which is lovely
However......I made a really great piece of Metal to fit in the hole which took me ages and ages, i was dead proud of the repair, which incidently i only tacked because i see the Paul Oliver made a good job of his and it spurned me on. As i said, however, i had a look at the other side and it's in really bad order, so much so i'm declaring myself out and will be on the phone to Martin for a new panel i can ill afford it at the moment but i need to press on with stuff so it's a necessary evil i'm sad to say. All told, another good day on the van....Tomorrow will see me attempt at finishing other little jobs off, until me next update, peace, love, and bleeding understanding

It,s better to find it all now, rather than 6 months down the line

Man up and tackle it, you have so much more decent metal than i did! Even if its not perfect, its nothing a light skim of filler cant fix after to get the shape just right! just do it in lots of small sections and take your time. Glad i inspired you to try it out though!
