'Pia' The Whole Story!

More paint progress;) not bad for a roller job i reckon:D
I'm finding my mojo again recently and am keen to begin work again. Had a bit of a lull the last month or two where i was just bored with the whole project but i'm back and am like a whirling painting dervish:)
I have learnt a few harsh lessons in terms of prepping the van properly but i'm getting there slowly thank god. We won't have a prize winner but we will have a van that at least we love anyway...Which in my opinion is what it's all about no?;)

Hi all.

Well it's been blinkin ages since my last update so i will say a few words. In a nutshell, not much has happened with the van due to a multitude of reasons that i wish to not go into. But slowly slowly catch a monkey i'm progressing albeit at a snails pace speed. The winter months killed my enthusiasm in regards to painting so i just put a quick coat on to stop the rot progressing. It's pretty much just putting back together now and finishing the painting over time. But with work/life/kids/money etc etc same ole same ole, things move slowly unfortunately. I would have loved to come to Martin's shindig but being brutally honest...Pia will not have her ball gown in time. My passion is still there and hell will freeze over before i decide to sell her, you can be sure of that. I just need to get my finger out me crevice and sort it :D i can't wait to drive my van again and stink of bonfire in a field with you lot getting drunk and talking pish :) i'm working on it.
 
Must try harder! stop wasting hard earned cash on blooming hair dye ya vain bugger and get that van sorted with some pics along the way....we miss ya dude!;)

I know how you feel Scott it's taken me alot longer than I expected to get Lucy on the road. Whenever I plan on spending a few days solid in the garage something else crops up!
Keep at it and you'll get there - it would be great if you could finish in time for Martins meet though as it would be nice to see you again. :)
