'Duke' possibly for sale

After only owning Duke for a year we might have to part with him as our house needs a new roof.

Whilst I think about this I'd be happy to receive any interest from site members. Duke is a tax free '72 Commer Coaster, Dormobile conversion with a reconditioned 1800 engine, new curtains, cab bunk and nice sink! He sleeps four easily and five at a push.

[:0]would be a great shame to part with a fantastic camper like duke:( and would be very hard to replace at a later date. is there no other way[?] if you do need to sell though i would think there would be no shortage of takers;)

That's really nice of you and we've had a bit of a heart to heart and decided that some things we're not prepared to sacrifice and Duke is one of them. He stays for ever, in fact the way things are going we'll be living in him soon!

The house roof will have to just stop leaking!

Good decision[^] you can remedy soggy carpets, ruined bedding, peeling wallpaper, stained ceilings, and damp walls - but the Duke is irreplaceable[8D]........ Did I sell that OK:I

Phew, just got in from Band Rehearsal to read this, my face dropped as i was thinking how i could raise the funds to buy him back, realising there is no way at the moment, then i scroll further down only to be happily greeted with you changing your minds;) your a naughty man Tim because the rule of thumb was that you would offer him back to us if you decided to sell:( glad you were pulling our leg about selling:D strange cos it's the only ex i'd take back in a heartbeat.

We're getting loads more quotes from builders too before the house falls down, so things today seem a bit brighter. Cheers Scott.

Tim, check your buildings insurance as it may cover some of the repairs?

Spare a Commer Guv?
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

I know the dilemma. Needed to pay a bill the other week, suggested to the new wife that we could sell Ralph. She gave me a dirty look (lol) and said no he's part if the family. I've had a great summer with him but have sorn'd him now for the winter.
