'78 Autosleeper

Had a look at a '78 Spacevan Autosleeper yesterday. Needs lower panels and a bit on the front floors. Gutters very good, a bit on the peak to do.
Been off the road 3 years, when the exhaust went, but had a recon engine before that. Not running at the moment, but appears to be something to do with a different ignition switch that has been fitted.
The interior cupboards are some of the best I've seen, with origonal crockery. Also has the 2 fitted bunks.

I know a slim chance but if someone does get this and doesn't want the interior I'd be up for it as need one shortly. :)

I thought about that, it's the correct year for that van and would need only a little alteration round the windows. Unless you get Rich to put Autosleeper windows in ;)

Well you do say welcome to the madhouse so i thought why not buy another van needing work when i have not finished Yori yet :I.
The plan is to hopefully put this one on the road fairly quickly without going down the full scale restoration route so we can have some fun. All the floor and box sections are good so im hoping i can leave the interior in place and just do the work for the test. Thanks for the congrats :)

I think so as well, just dying to drive one. I really do need to get cracking with this one though or i will be in very big trouble with Claire [B)]
