It's got free view fitted! and the fancy lamp was only available on 1981 models;) Have a look at some older pictures then you might see what I have done[?] Keep guessing[}:)]

Yes John! I have painted the sides. Not the greatest job in the world but got rid of the Silver coach lines and the darker Blue paint;) Think it makes her look a bit cleaner. Don't know whether or not to put the chrome wheel trims on[?]

I would be more worried about the van being transported with just 2 straps holding it on! Not a good idea :( If thats a Renault Master its on the back of its also well overweight :(

That's interesting. Whenever I have hired a trailer to move my cars I have always been supplied with two straps and been told that is sufficient. I don't trust that setup and always insist on four. I thought I was being over cautious, but perhaps not.

He put four straps on it he was still doing it while I took the photo!;) He was given the weight of the van and he said it was OK to carry it.

I removed the pictures because members were commenting on the guy's recovery truck which in my opinion has nothing to do with X-Box going to Glasgow. A comment like "two straps" and "operators licence" has nothing to do with me. All I will say is that the guy does it for a living and collected it on behalf of the production company so am sure he has everything he needs to. I felt the members were having a go at the recovery driver when there was no really reason to. This kind of thing puts me off forums.:(

An HGV friend of mine has sent me a pic of Xbox on the back of a recovery truck. Cheeky sod, thought it was my van and it had broken down.....as if!
 
i wonder how many people saw xbox on his way up there and said "LOOK, a commer[:0]" thats the beuty of these vans. unlike the VW's these still really grab you because they are rare [8D]
