It WAS going to appear in a BBC drama called "Field Of Blood" I say was going to cos the bloody thing broke down on me this morning. I lost the clutch, fluid is in it. Had to get the garage to come and tow me in. They have had a look and think the master cylinder has gone? I am at the end of the road with these vans as it is just one thing after other, so it will be the scrapyard on Monday.Think its worth more in bits. Had to let the guy down how bad is that! I know old cars and vans have problems but this is just crazy.[V]

No John they can't re-scheduled as the filming has all been arranged. I can't fit a master cylinder which means I have to fork out more money which I don't want to. I have spent thousands already and not really had the enjoyment I think its time for me to move on as I have another Capri I want to restore and at lease they are worth money now. Never thought they would be as unreliable has they have been especially after all the work and money spent on them. Also looking at it I can't even sell them! X-Box will soon meet its maker[V]

Well Jon it has had a good mechanic on it today. Thanks to Martin Maltas who very kindly came out his way to sort X-Box out, X-Box will appear on a TV screen near you soon.
Martin also lifted my faith in the old girl again and will hopefully be on the way to Scotland on Friday starring as a newspaper delivery van! with specially made signs
Fantastic news I can't beleive your vans have not sold for what you have been asking for them. I think you should keep them both as in my opinion they are worth far more. Plus now your faith has been restored things can only get more exciting X-Box will be worth thousands when its famous. Keep the faith Alan

Thats all these vans need to keep them going Alan, they may not be as reliable as your capris, but you need to remember that your vans have been sitting un used for years even though you have had most the van re comissioned by your garage there are still many things that havent been replaced. The more you use it and iron out the the problems the more reliable it will be.
So glad you have got it sorted now go and wash your mouth out with soap after talking about scraping it[8D]
