3 point seat belts

Excuse me if this has been asked before, but I'm looking to put 3 point seat belts in the back for 2 passengers. Mine is a Dodge Autosleeper 4 berth where the bench seats convert into forward facing seats. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

It has been done, Bigmonkeyman altered the bench in such a way that he managed to get a pair of Transit mini bus seats in, the type with seatbelts mounted on the frame, and still was able to make the bed up:)
There have been others but I cant remember how they did it:I

Hi - the bench seats turn into forward facing seats like this:

Not keen to put minibus seats in, as I'd rather keep what is already there and find a way to get a 3 point harness in.

Yours is an Autosleeper the same interior and seat arrangement as bigmonkeyman's so his idea will fit your van. You can fit lap belts quite easily by drilling through the floor and fitting spreader plates but a three point harness is more difficult because there aren't any places to put a shoulder strap mount:I Unless you find somewhere to weld some in.

What about the rearmost seatbelt from a vw T4 caravelle? The upper mount hangs from the roof on a metal bracket with a plastic cover. You would need to figure out how to make the upper mounting strong enough. Seam welding the roof panels would probably help
