Hi Grizz, your dissy looks like a 45d as there isn't a vernier adjuster on the opposite end of the advance and retard assembly.
Also a 25d has a nut which the condenser wire and the low tension wire
attach to on the points but a 45d has a spring clip affair which does the same job, hope this is of help to you,otherwise it means cleaning the outer casing and looking for the number which is stamped on the outside.

it doesn't really look like either of my Dizzys.
There are 2 types of dizzy fitted to commers as standard Lucas 25D and 45D, could this be the third type - anyone know what a Duceller looks like??!?
is that cylinder on the right in the last picture the condenser?
am I just adding to the confusion!

the 45D has a little rubber grommet for the low tension wires, so pic 2 doesn't look quite right.
Looking at page N82 of the manual.(here's the link to the manual http://www.commervanfan.co.uk/docs/CommerManual.pdf It looks like this one) has the capacitor on the outside - like the ducellier. Figure N80 on page N87 looks right too.
So I'm now voting for Ducellier. I've never seen one in the flesh before so I'd recommended waiting for someone else's input before splashing the cash. Aldon are really good though they took back a kit I ordered wrongly.

nope - the one in the picture is a Duceller (the 3rd type fitted to commers). I don't know anything about them, but from the manual, they look a lot more robust than the Lucas ones (25D or 45D)

Aldon list 2 models which look like they are an old one and a newer one. The one for the peugeot is probably the one you want. I presume this is because the Chrysler operation was taken over by peugeot/talbot (some of the parts from Speedy spares come in talbot bags)

so my guess is that you need the EP141, but again its just a guess.
