1980 Dodge Van FOR SALE

Didn't think of silver, was thinking a faded blue or green.....or even white

well Im going to go for fiat 500 punk grey (which is actually brown those crazy Ities) with old English white on the top half , if you are into the 50s/60s colours the first run of the new fiat 500 colours are great
 
I said that about Fiat 500 colours; if we kept yori it would have been that lovely sagey green (close to original too)
 
I was repairing the front wing on my daughters punto a while ago and I tested the paint out on one of Harvey's doors, it's a metalic grey colour and with a coat of clear laquer on top it did get me wondering:I but I stuck to Triumph damson in the end.

Our brush:I with Fiat Uno colours was a nice aquamarine metallic which was very difficult to match when re-spraying the bonnetti...
 
Well done Spaceman ! yes i knew of this van for years, meeting alan at Newark, and giving him some spares , fine van , and yes the old perkins 4108 is a superb engine if maintained, oil changes filters, clear cooling system ,in the commers or dodge version will give 40 to 45 mpg and with overdrive and with the high ratio diff will see 65 70 mph, sadly a lot of gpo deisels had a hard life and worn out when sold to the public ,even then were driven into the ground, overheated and put to pasture, real sick puppies, so to survive all this is rare ,

as said before the perkins is a great little diesel[^] just a bit to noisy:( but you will get 40+ mpg easy:) when you collecting it spaceman[?]

this van is advertised for sale in the latest edition of cv&p mag, so dont know if spaceman pulled out of the deal or not.
