1978 dodge commer minibus

Hi there, I have finally admitted defeat and decided to sell the basket case that is my old minibus.
At some point someone has fitted a pop top roof to convert to a camper, there are no seats in the back for the same reason.
I recently had the van media blasted as i knew there was alot of rust and many layers of hand applied paint, unfortunately it uncovered more work than i have the money/time/kills to fix, it is therefore a very honest sale with no hidden problems.
All the glass is present, all 5 doors need repairs but weren't blasted, there is an engine and box present, but hasn't been run in years, so.......?

Hi Iain, a hard decision to make but there's nothing worse than watching your van rot away in front of you so ultimately you are probably making the right decision[V] Where about are you?

Indeed, I have come to the conclusion that even if I did finish it, the van would no longer meet my requirements anyway!
I'm in gloucestershire.
 
Aww, don't scrap it! I'm sure we can find someone for it. Where are you based? If you're not a million miles away I may be interested as a forever project.
 
the van is in dursley in gloucestershire, really want to see it go to a new home for either a restoration or for donor parts for another van.
 
I'm with Jeff, too good to scrap and all is laid bare for the prospective restorer. Hang on a bit longer and I'm sure someone will take it.
