1975 COMMER AUTOHOME

I have`nt got rid of any furnishings, I like things to be as close to factory spec as possible so apart from overdrive there will be no modifications, the van will be left standard and original. It is a little gem now and I love useing it, I also have a 1958 Bedford CA Dormobile that I had on the CCC stand at the NEC next to Wills Commer. I will send some pics over soon.quote:

Have`nt fitted the box yet as I have`nt had the time, we stayed in Glastonbury for a while after visiting you and collecting the box and the van is superb, loved your Commer, its very well done and very usable.quote:

Judging by the comments above I would think Cyril has found a loving new home and is definately not for sale any more.:):)
 
No, the Commer is definately NOT for sale, nor is it called Cyril anymore, it was christened "Hells Commer" on the day I bought it but that hardly seems appropriate now as its providing trouble free travel and is great fun...unless your stuck behind it on the road!:D:Dquote:

Good to see you on the forum, and glad to hear that you
are getting things sorted with the Commer.. if the standard
of the Bedford CA is anything to go on,the Commer will be a cracker..
If you have got any pics of your CA, or the other vans the NEC stand you must post them if you get chance.. Chris allways askes me for pics. but I never take enough.. I thought that I had one of Daryls Escort cossie,
but its not on my phone, and the others came out too dark..

Hi Will, good to hear from you. Martin from the CCC sent me a cd of the club stand at the NEC with some good pics of the Escort and your Autosleeper as well as my CA, the CF, Transit and the Dodge. I will try and post some here but im a bit of a technophobe so may not be able to:( The pice I took at the NEC all came out too dark, im sure if you ask Martin he will send you a cd over. Cheers.
