looks like an alright bit of kit as long as it is as solid as he says. was thinking the price was a tad optomistic but if its as solid as he says and everything is working it may be worth the spend out :)

What does anyone else think about the price of this van? Is it too high, as may be the case with the 'allo 'allo Bedford at £2,000.00?

i thought it was steep at first but like i said if its as solid ect as he says it may be worth it. on the other hand i cant help thinking if its that good all it would take is a day or so to get mot worthy. so why hasnt he? would make it sell alot easier. and wouldnt have cost him much. really it needs looking at. i dont know if anyone on here is local to it to do a roaming review for us ;)

Think I'll chat to my better half when she gets back tomorrow and then contact to get more info and have a look. She likes the Leyland Jennings but I think that will rise and rise in the next few days. H

Hi, the van looks o.k to me but will need some work doing. The rust will need to be treated before any re-spray can be done, what does everyone think about the inside? If i had it i would rip it all out and start again, but thats just me. I think if you can pay around the £2000 for it then its sound underneath, so not a bad price.

The inside is the original layout albeit with some 'new' cupboard doors fitted, they are a bit 'orrible:I Personally I would try and match the original finish and have it as it should be - it's a very practical set up.
The van does look a tad shabby but that's not a bad thing as it looks like it hasn't been doctored up so could be a reasonable buy. I'd still go and see it before bidding though.

Did the van sell? I can't see on my iPhone if it did or not :(
I am curious to see how the commer market is doing as I might be looking to sell mine.

The market is really depressed at the moment, xmas is looming and money is tight. Very few people have the spare cash to invest in cars classic or modern:(
See the thread in the parts section about the postbus to read another members thoughts on his sales.
Personally I would`nt advertise anything classic now until we are well into the new year when most people start thinking about the oncoming spring and summer and start looking for campers again.
Just my view :)

Bloody Commer`s!

It's back on at a lower starting price, getting towards a bargain.

Could be worth keeping an eye on if you're in the market. If it gets no bids (which I suspect it may not) then make an offer. After seeing it in the fleshof course.
