This is my dad's but has been sitting in a shed for quite a few years. Just wondered how easy is it to find body panels and parts. 20240727_104155.jpg20240727_104143.jpg20240727_104107.jpg20240727_104111.jpg20240727_104128.jpg

Hi and welcome :)
Unfortunately we have lost our major parts suppliers but there is still stuff out there - PowerTrack Ltd for hydraulics and good old ebay for other bits but not as easy as it used to be. Martin Maltas is the man for panels, he hand makes most of what you will need but he is currently taking a break but hopefully will be back in action soon.
Good luck with the Wanderer it looks like a major project that will need a lot of time, effort and funds to complete but you will have a great van in the end.

Also if it’s got the original petrol engine you should be able to find most engine parts for it as it is the more or less the same as a Rootes group Sunbeam Alpine/Rapier, Hillman Hunter etc. There are a number of suppliers for those cars if you check on line.

Thanks. It has been in this shed for at least 30 years. The front took alot of water as the roof of the shed was damaged in a storm and my dad was too old to repair. Next time I go back I might move it to the big garage but he currently has his other camper and sports car in there. Will put a list together of every panel I need and see what I can get. Thankfully my dad, myself and my son all weld and have worked on cars and bikes. It would only be time for me and my dad's age stops him from restoring. We may look at selling if I don't have time to take it on.

Yeah it's the original engine. I remember my dad fitting the overdrive and I am sure it came from an old hillman hunter we had back in the 70s and think it has sat in that shed since 1989.
