1972 Poptop Commer

I have a project 72 Commer that in all honesty I doubt I will get around to working on for some time. I have an early 60's Buick that is swallowing my time.

This motor needs a full resto but it is complete so thats something. Engine has been running when I first got it round a year ago. Interior is partially striped but all there.

I want £300 for her which I think is a fair price. Obviously it needs trailered away.

I am in Central Scotland PH3. If you need any info phone me on 07833626267 or email [email protected]

Cheers, Ross

If the bible has taught us anything, and it hasn't, its that women should stick to girly sports like foxy boxing and hot oil wresting.

I suppose on reflection it could be saved albeit a lot of work. But for £300 it's worth a good go. Nope all, i've changed my status to either KEEP IT or MEND IT;):D chucking a few quid at this van would get it looking much fitter.

I am tempted to break her but feel a bit bad as its all matching numbers. A nice complete vehicle. Will see what happens.

As I say I would love to throw money at it but with my 61 Buick Skylark in for a minor resto and respray the cash just isn't there to do it :(

Could you not throw a cover over it and keep it for a bit longer and see where you are in the better weather, say Spring time? Let's face it mate, £300 isn't gonna take you very far anyway is it;) if i had the space i'd have it off you.

61 Buick Skylark eh[^]

Anything like this 1962 one:p[?]:p

Cover it, keep it, finish the buick, sell the Buick then restore the Commer - makes perfect sense.

Spare a Commer Guv?
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

Haha good plan baz. I just love the buick though.

Yeah Greg thats the model I have. That body shape was only made during 61 and 62. Type in 1961 Buick Skylark on youtube. My one is on there, black with pinstripping. its been lowered more at the rear since then.

Comm-up-Ear I may well do that if I get no bites.

It's a difficult decision but once you've sold your Commer it doesn't take long for the pangs to kick in, I think you've been there before:I
