Rust on bracket for spare wheel (could be taken off rubbed down and sprayed)

By far the worst bit of body work on what is a very clean and original Highwayman, flat section to fill.

I'll place the van on Ebay if it's not sold this week, but wanted to give Commer Van Fans the first opportunity... great site!!! The CVF forums have been invaluable to me over the last few years!!! Thanks

Nice van, a bit of work needed - but don't they all:)
What is the underside like. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Panky, Comm - Pete, the van is in great condition for the age, I included the photo of the rust under the front of the roof to show the vans worst area by far, rather than omit this info until someone makes the effort to view the van and then questions why I've not given all the info. This flat area is cosmetic and is purely where rain has gradually gone through a seal on the front of the aluminum roof and over the years the water has found its way out through the flat area you can see. This flat area could be treated and left as is, treated and filled, or cut out and replaced depending on the finish required. [8D] I'll put the van on Ebay this weekend and see how we go. Thanks

Unlike many campers for sale this van is original and has not been filled and re-sprayed, so you can see the unhidden condition of the van and the minimal work required if someone wanted to bring the van back to its fully original condition. Thanks

Hi Bruce, Guess you sold your Commer a while ago but I notice in the post that you had an MOT done for it. Do you know where you got that done? Just wanted to see if there was any mechanic you knew of that I go to for a quick engine tune and MOT. Cheers
