1968 petrol commer engine oil

Good evening all, long time no catch up. Going to change the oil (Well the garage man is) and he has always sold me expensive second hand oil out the back of the workshop in a drum!! It's about £10 For a washing conditioner pot full, so costly.
What do you all put in your commer, 20/50? Mine is a 1968 petrol rootes engine.
Recommendations always appreciated. Zena

I used to use the Halfords Classic 20/50. Nice stuff but it started getting expensive so now I use Comma 20/50, about £11 for 4 1/2 litres. It's fine as long as it's changed regularly.
 
Omg no?? I've just ordered the comma oil hope you get it fixed!!

Must have been that cheap Comma oil;)
Only kidding, both vans are running like Swiss watches:)
