Had an email from a chap thought I would spread the word for the more ambitious...

Eh...an unusual Commer looks just like an Austin or BMC (Leyland):I

in my case, perfectly possible :D

hope it gets saved, would make a lovely mobile home - and looks better than I would if I'd spent 40 years in a field [B)]

It looks like a very nice library friendly field :) I could think of worse places to spend 40 years :I

If you look closely there is a tractor just behind it ;)it has obviously just been pulled out of the field :p a little worryingly also a pond [:0]

Yes, if you look at the tyres you can see where it has been sunk into the ground. the green bit was probably above the surface, the rest sunk over the years. But it is dry inside so there may be some hope.

Not sure on what age it is, can it have had many years active service before its' 40 year retirement? library vans normally kept going for years as expensive conversions
