I came accross this earlier today! but they didnt show
the front end looks more like a hadrian than a jennings to me pretty groovy!
other add said he would swap for a tipper lorry !

It's a 'Wilson's Adventurer' on the Commer KA30 chassis, not a Jennings.

I started with nothing.....and I still have most of it!

Nice picture of this van (when new) on page 171 of my first book, Classic Camper Vans-the inside story;) It was built/converted by the coachbuilders at Barking Garage for Leslie Wilson of Wilsons Motorcaravan Centre Brixton, same company who made the Commer Aardvark:)

I thought I recognised it, here it is on the back page of the MMM 25th anniversary supplement
I think I prefer the original colour scheme[8D]

Been there, done that Alan...and been told to mind my own business in the past[:(!] We will just have to wait and see who wins this beauty and joins the forum thinking they have a very rare Jennings:D With a bit of luck any prospective bidder will have seen this forum beforehand, and this thread;) Jennings aside, this is one very rare Commer motorhome:p

Most Commer campers now make double and sometimes treble their original retail price. This beauty cost £2500 when released in 1964 in basic form/no extras. Was also available with rear door option, but I have a feeling this might have been the only one built; unless anyone knows different?
