I’m sorry to announce that our beloved Daisy is looking for a new home. We’ve owned her for a year now, but haven’t managed to progress very well.
Please don’t judge but we’re moving to the dark side ( VW T2)
This is a lovely solid van which will make a great project for someone with plenty of time and energy. It has the very rare Car Camper sleeping arrangement and seating ( which we loved) I have reupholstered the folding front seats ( which collapse into a small bed) and rear bench cushions.
This is an initial post just to see if there is any interest in her. To all those interested.
The van runs but isn’t on the road (difficult without the dividing bulkhead and seats in).
It has a Martin Maltas SU carb and 4 branch manifold. Rebuilt 3 core radiator and new alternator.
Now needs setting up.
All 5 wheels have been powder coated and fitted with new tires.
Engine covers and air scoop repainted.
Front seat frame repaired and painted.
Ready to fit new seats. Interior has been removed for renovation.
