Hi
I haven't checked this yet but as our Commer is a minibus originally, I think it's a 2500 (according to Mr Osylager).
I understand that campers were based on 1500, meaning softer suspension and I would guess more wallowy handling ?
Can anyone tell me how they compare in terms of driving / handling ?
The reason I ask is because on the book of face dot com, people sometimes post up a pic of a Commer PA/PB (often a camper), on which at least one person will say they're awful to drive. latest = "Awful van. Lethal to drive". This is then rebuffed by several people who have a much better experience.
Ours is no hot-hatch, but he handles just fine and is fab to drive. I'm wondering whether the harder suspension (assuming he's a 2500) might account for the difference of opinion, and the 1500s are a bit more tricky ?
