Rupert is about to start getting fitted back out for the summer and the 1/4 light seals are pretty shot. Any one know of any NOS or good second hand ones for sale? or even a good alternative that can be adapted???:D

This subject has been running for over 3 years, they are not available. There is a guy in Australia that will make them, @ £50 each, but he needs a firm order for min 50 pairs.
It's about time we, as a 'club', did something about it. It has been suggested that someone takes charge of the project., i.e. take deposits off people and hold them till we get enough confirmed orders. Basically, the guy needs 50% up front and the rest on completion. He is very good and deals a lot with the Imp club.
So, we need a volunteer, any offers[?]

More than happy to start this if it means we can get them! I'm up for a set so only another £4900 to go!

if there is the interest out there I will happily open an account and hold the money as long as everyone is happy with that??

A simple contract can be drawn up to safeguard anyone who joins in!

Great, that's what we want, a volunteer :)
I would prefer someone else do it Mark, as it's not a business venture, but a joint club effort.
The lead time from order to receipt, is 4-6 months. So once the deposits are paid, we will have time to save up the rest.
I will order 5 sets to start it off :)

there is another thread of people committing - perhaps better to resurrect that and get people to reconfirm or add to that master list?
