So there we have it then! Darkside owners with lots of money are buying them up cos they know their on the rise price wise. True Commer fans, buy these vans before they end up on VW advertisement boards and the like!
 
No it was the purple in that link that sold... the green one had already gone.. so the listing says. Still right though.. the darkside are just greedy!!

I really hope you're not right Comm-Don, but I have a feeling that you might be. It's happened to VWs, it's happened to Fords, I see no reason why it shouldn't happen to Commers. Who are these people with megabucks at their disposal anyway? (Everyone I know is skint, myself included!)
 
The purple one sold on ebay, and in the pic of the green one, on sunset page, looks like you can see the purple one behind it.. i've just tried to ring the no. and its not known... so emailed.. want to go and be nosy, as its only a couple of miles away from here

Cazz, your right. The green one sold last year for even less if i remember?

Chamba, Chequebook resto's are to blame i think? Bitter sweet really cos IF and WHEN we ever sell ours, the market will see us a nice return on our purchase, but it's not fair!!! And we aren't selling so not worth discussion HAHAHA!

its about time commers had that type of recognition, soon they will have....... they are more practical for a start and well more cute ill argue with anyone about it --- bring it on !!! lol
 
I went to see the green one last year, think it went for about 2,200. no interior, no log book present at viewing, and no total proof of tax exemption at the time. It also had no MOT, and water was leaking from one of the pipes from the engine. I'm Sure all of these problems are fixed now, however £7000?

I remember the owner was very sure it would make £2500 in the above condition last time, around Oct. I was there in Bournemouth at the end of the auction, laptop in the back of the car, waiting for my dream van. I gave up shortly after the 1K mark.

It's getting difficult to gauge the price of vans now, remember what appeared to be a really sound van in chesham about the 3k mark a couple years ago.
