Removed some of the rotten wood,and now the corner has come apart,so was thinking of using some aluminium angle and riviting it to the corner with some silicon sealant between to waterproof the join,is this the way to go or is there a better/correct way to do it.

Thanks for putting up pic`s panky. Going to sand down some of the wood and paint it white to brighten the interior up. But first i`ve got to replace that rotten wood behind the cab seats.

Just getting the inside set for sanding and painting,and found the bulk head wood to be rotten.So my question is when i replace it,what is the best wood to use and also how is it fixed to the side and roof of the van.
