I think the book you mention is about a BMC 250JU Cotswold, not a Commer. Title is; 'Where Angels Fear to Tread'-Travels through Mexico by Bill MIller. There was a copy on Amazon last week for a couple of quid.

Kes, that is a 'Spacequest' by Thomas Hosking of Cardiff, not a Jennings! As you say, very rare, they usually built them on the MKI Transit.:)

Yes Martin, pretty certain that is a Car-Camper conversion. Tell-tale signs are the side louvre windows and Sherwood rising roof. Only problem is, 'Inca' conversions also had these so it would need internal pics in order to verify; Car-Campers had a tiled floor red or blue or black with white;)
