    I plumbed mine in between the heater matrix input and output pipes (in parallel) with a control valve. As mines a later Dodge I also have a slide control on the dash for the heater matrix itself. It means I can either have the heater matrix on/off or the extra rad on/off or both. Saying that...

    if compression is at 115 it likely isn’t a stuck valve - it does sound most likely the spark to me. Could also be worth checking for air leaks from the inlet manifold at number 4 but it would likely still run on the cylinder certainly when revving it
