    Whale water works

Sink is fine and I always use a waste water container, I was thinking of a bung in the water tank itself so I could empty unused water without pumping via sink. Having tested just now...water seems clear but seal gone on wale pump and water everywhere when pumping. One function best left...

    A new bed set up

Yes that's exactly the plan. Im gonna run a 6ft board from the current place between the bench seats to the back of the van, with a hinged section at 3ft as this will still fit in area behind bench seats for storage but conscious I need to support the wood insert in periodic places. Cannot find...

    Whale water works

I have the old self pump Whale water system fitted to my van , which just confess I have never used. To stop the dull treck 4 dish water when away, I thought I would give it a go. Does anyone use theirs? On a previous camper, there was a valve underneath the van which could be opened to release...

    MOT time.

My baby went through her mot yesterday, the usual oil leak advisory but to replace the sump or rear crank oil seal, which I understand means gearbox out!! I think an oil pan and spare oil on board for a while will work better

how to maximise double bed area

Well. I have a very happy Hubby. Our weekend trials revealed that my divide between the cab and the back area is indeed fixed...but we have a double bed in the cab and a double bed in the rear, so he is happy - finally he gets a bed of his own and apparently, he can sleep in the cab whilst I...

how to maximise double bed area

OK. So I have the pop top commer, which has a 3 seat bench seat in the cab behind which is a fixed wooden divide into rear of the van. To make sleeping more comfortable and hubby more happy, when we place the table between the 2 bench seats in the back and convert to a bed, we only have the...

That made me chuckle. Good to hear from you. He didn't book a b and b but had lots of beer!! He did spend a day trying to work out how to take out the wooden divide between cab and sleeping area to extend bed Base. Lump of shine is gorgeous, love the harley too and great to have both. I fell of...
