Hi again Jon - seems we're following the same path but are a couple of month behind you. We're looking at insulation as well, so thanks for this info ! A question: Ours is a bus so the floor is just the ripply metal. How do camper (or other) vans stop any wood etc layed on top eventually sink...

Nice3! My traveller looks a bit worse for wear these days but still very ioerational apart from the wood thing. Are those van wheels? They look more purposeful than mine

The moggy ("monty") has an hif38 carb with heated manifold ( both by prev owner) and 3.9:1 diff. Seems to work quite well! Its not particularly slow and cruising at 'same speed as everyone else' is fairly easy ☺

Our current fleet: triumph stag (2500s engine conversion so it can be used as though ut was a car) moggy traveller (pic is as at our wedding 2014 but currently off road cos the wood needs work) my wife mel has a 1969 moggy 2-door which is being restored by local garage and just over a week ago...

Hi i had a hole about the size of a penny in my moggy minor's radiator (a result of enthusiastic excitable starting handle removal when it actuaĺy started!). The radiator us copper so i cut out a patch from a cat food can and soldered it on with a domestic soldering iron. I made sure the solder...

Mel and I were wondering about the gearbox upgrade : 4-speed + overdrive or 6-speed lexus. I know what overdrive is and how it is to use (I have a triumph stag) so that's a 'known quantity'. The Lexus thing sounds interesting though! Is there more info anywhere?

yeah we thought we'd go for a rally or two. can't wait to get drifting ! lol
