Just to say it again. If anyone needs a stop-off Bridgwater way, we have space, electric hook-up and a spare handy bathroom. It's a long way to Cornwall, so you may need a half way stop.

    Sliding window

Oh, and a couple of tips for using them. Fit them at the TOP of the window, that way they default to the locked position instead of falling open. And use a small bulldog clip to secure in the locked position to make them much more secure against thieves using a bit of wire to poke them open.

    Will Jennings turn over....

That's the heater valve to turn off the heater for the summer. If you do succeed in turning it, it will most likely leak. Mine did. Best leave it alone. I added a proper heater control valve in the cab which does the same job and you don't have to open the engine hatch every time!

No need for a payen number. If you go to Wych Bearings website/oil seals/imperial/select nitrile/select shaft dia/select outside dia...........it will give you a choice of all the thicknesses available........select one of them.

A decent camping trip makes all the hard work worthwhile, :) and you're bound to come back with a bit of a list. Where's the fun if you didn't? If you're replacing the diff seal, take a look at this thread, https://forum.commervanfan.co.uk/threads/rear-diff-gasket.8732/#post-148127 to make...

    Oh Bottoms!

Ooooh. That's nasty. :( That piston looks to me like it's been hit very hard from above at that point. 2nd and third lands (between the rings) appear to be broken and displaced downwards squashing the oil control ring. I suppose it could be the bit that broke out of the piston causing the...

Unwritten Luton vans are very useful as vehicles for hiring to film companies. Don't have to go, just look the part when parked up in a street scene hiding whatever the film company doesn't want you to see.:)
