    The Snail

I've been doing the same job on my valance at the weekend. I've found Green Shield stamps, one shilling and a tax disc from '77 in mine!

    Exhausts

This is awesome; great way to tackle the problem head on! Will you be putting prices of your exhausts on your website? I'm sure a performance exhaust will go down well when I'm eventually back on the road. Speaking of which, does that system use the RC40 back box?

    Romeos last ride.

Lovely pics. Commer looks great in the first one; great patina! The Bedford and that 1100 Express tick all the right boxes for me

    Fuel lines.

Agree with the above comment, proper Jubilee clips I've found are very good. I much prefer the nylon fuel lines to the rubber which should only be used for short runs.

Engine fire - gutted in every sense

I hate seeing pictures like this, what a great shame. I know how I'd feel if that happened to me, very sorry for you. Who knows what the insurance company will decide, I don't understand their processes, but worst case there's probably a fair bit worth a few bob that can be salvaged to keep...

    Jog by the seaside

Got to be a tasty 50 I reckon, but very similar results to my 70-300. Yes, well done Panky! :D

    Jog by the seaside

Had to sign in rather than lurk as usual just to say that these photos are excellent! Commers and Brighton, win win! :) What lens are you using? Interior fabrication looks great too. Like the others said, make sure you save the old interior. Someone somewhere will be in crying need for it.

1/32 Scale Commer PB slot body

Oh boy. I'm poor this month, but I've been waiting for a Commer of this scale for some time... may have to indulge :p

That be somewhere in Devon that, and a lovely village it was too.

    Rover

Hey Jostein, snap! Derv for Chamba. Very underated cars. It was one or these or a Mk.1 Focus for the same money. Given that I've always wanted one it was no competition! It's a bittersweet feeling to be driving one of the last mass produced British designs.

21000 Mile trip in our Commer Van.

What an awesome trip! Another few thousand miles and you could have done a ciruit of the earth. -8C, that's impressive, but I expect the Commer fared less well in +46C! Would love to do similar, but wouldn't be able to afford the £5k cost for fuel alone.

    The F.T

I never realised that the FT got to the painted stage. Looks awesome, do we have any more pics? Tim, so how do you remove that linkage then? Need to double check, but I think the bush on mine is non-existent too [}:)]
