Defenitly got a fuel pump issue im thinking of putting electric pump in but which type? I am looking at a huco suction pump 2.1 psi any thoughts please

I have noticed the coil getting unreasonably hot so could be that and condensors are typical culprits so i will replace one at a time and see. thanks for advice .

Still packed up on me drove it 5 mile parked up came back to it 15 mins later and it started instantly as it normally does then a few mins later just dies and wont start leave it for 10 mins and it started, i drove it home and stopped the engine and it would not start again.. any ideas ?

Put inline fuel filter before the pump and re routed the line and it has run for a few miles with no problem so far time will tell, im going to route the line at the back of the engine bay in copper to shorten the lenghth of the pipe No sign of anythimg in the filter so far so hopefully no...

Thanks guys i will re route the fuel line and that eliminates the evaperation from the possibilities

Hi Driving the van on tuesday ( hot day ) after 20 mile at a roundabout the van stopped but managed to start same at next roundabout but wouldn't restart removed the fuel pipe from the carb (su) no sign of petrol i used an electric pump to draw petrol through and got going again but process...
