Hi I can confirm engine will come out of passenger door but you need a long arm hoist, I had to extend mine for it to reach! Probably not recommended!
My spare Hunter engine is more worn than I hoped, of course, so I will rebuild Smurf's orginal engine, using high comp Hunter pistons, Smurf could do with more power!
I have a few questions can anyone help me with.
1) Is a Hunter camshaft-iron head-the same as the Commer one? Or should I use the one from th Hunter engine if its good enough.
2) Although I have a SU conversion, would it be a better idea to fit the single 1 1/2 Hunter Stromburg that came with my spare engine? It ought to be better set up than my SU which is not quite right.
