Ooh, another Baz, welcome to the Madhouse!
That looks like a Wanderer to me, Bernie (Gladys Crew) might be able to help you there, he's had Gladys' roof off in the past.

Hi Baza welcome to the mad house, Congratulations on becoming the custodian of a Commer Wanderer, remember you don't own a Commer a Commer owns you :D
When it stops raining here I will go out and take a video of the roofs workings, I also so have loads of pictures of when I renovated the roof section which i will find and repost.:)

Hi Baza and welcome to the Madhouse :)
As you can see there's loads of people willing to help, hopefully the advise will help you get you van up and running.

Welcome fellow commerner, unfortunately I'm one of the odd balls who has strived to keep the Sheldon high top (for some reason not a popular choice lol) but it looks like you have some good help already. The great thing about the guys and gals here is we all want you to succeed and have many happy times to come in your van. Photos are always welcomed. Good luck.

Thank you :) I was worried the end pieces were separate and had be be stowed during travel!!!! Is it easy to push up weight wise??? Just bought a sunbeam alpine 1700gt as my engine in bits was knackered!!!

Thank you all so much for answers so far. More questions will follow in the coming year ;) time to get out the sand paper and epoxy resin ;)
