With Bonnie all tucked away for the winter I've ordered some of this stuff to keep the fuel fresh as she probably won't see a top up until spring and, as you know, unleaded has a nasty habit of going off pretty quickly :(

while here mr P started on your rear damper top up mod yesterday and just got one done. It had a bit of smooth resistance before but could move them easily. Drained, flushed and put the 50 oil in and now you really have to pull a fair bit to operate them but still smooth, more like what you expect from a modern shock. Does that sound about right to you? Worried might have overfilled them
 
That sounds about right. As long as the pistons are covered and there's an air space at the top all will be good. You will feel a big difference on the road :cool:
I bet the old oil smelled nice

No idea as I don't use it. But I doubt it has the same properties as the Fuel Fit stuff.
