Hi guys, I have just purchased a barn find 1967 pa/pb and amongst a giant list of jobs is reverting the horn back to its original state (Currently operated via a crude switch). Has anybody got pictures or an exploded view of the parts involved as it looks like a few pieces are missing and the surround has been cut

Hi Jimmy and welcome to the Madhouse:D
Please tell us more about your van, we'd love to hear your story and see lots of pics please:)
Here's the horn push diagram from the manual, you can download the whole thing for free from the website home page. Just click on Home at the top of the page and go to the Mechanical section, you'll find a shortcut to the manual in the links on the right hand side.

Awesome I think I'm just missing the horn contact and possibly the base plate oh yes and one of the three screws within the push button assembly. The van is a 67 which was converted back in the day and I'm going to need quite a few bits and bobs like the door seals on the sliding front doors for instance. It's a one family owner from new with 68k on the clock. The vans been christened Jimmy (hence Jimmy van) I will try and sort some pics out asap. It's rough round the edges lol but absolutely beautiful

Ha ha ha very true, thanks for the warm welcome and help, it's good to know that I'm not the only commer lover about

Ok so some ingenuity might be necessary on the doors. I'm going to have a good look round it and compile a shopping list and give you a call so you can talk me through what you have and haven't got if that's ok. Good news on the horn bits though nice one

Nice one panky but they are the bits I've got along with the horn center boss, it's the bits like the contact and brass ring I'm missing and maybe a spring. I could really do with some good quality photos of the bits and Bobs necessary and how they fit as I think someone has broken the housing around the indicator stalk (does this hold the brass ring in place) I'm sure I could fabricate something once I know how it goes together.
