Having changed a few of these engines (an aircraft carrier has 4 fitted as the main propulsion system) its probably worth pointing out you will need a slightly larger fuel tank - they can easily run off of diesel but at max chat will get through 6 tonnes an hour, when we dashed to Sierra Leonne in 2000 we had all four Ollys flat out for 2 days - 24 tonnes per hour x 48 hours = 1152 tonnes
being sad buggers we worked out the fuel economy it came out something daft like 171 gallons to the mile
