Ted had become a little smoky on start up and had a bit of a burning oil door about him. As he was about to take over daily duties from the BX I thought I'D better take a look.
A bore hone with new rings (the old oil control rings were a bit sticky), new big end and mains shells, an 'improved' cam and duplex vernier timing gear with matching oil pump to compliment the Mini Cooper head I fitted ages ago. Basically what I did with the Mini engine a few years ago.
I thought the choice of oil to be most appropriate
He goes very well with a rather inappropriate (for a Minor) induction roar and sporty exhaust note, I pretty much love it
