Won't start when hot

My Dodge PB Autosleeper will not start when hot, not a peep until engine cools down. When cold or cool engine starts like a dream! Weber carb refurbished and fuel line re-directed via radiator. Any ideas gratefully received
 
Hiya I'm not mechanical but I was plagued by this for about two years. After 45 mins of any trip Ralph would would stop. I swopped Mechanical fuel pump for electrical. Not sure if this helps you
 
Or could be the coil, they tend to start breaking down when hot and get worse...can test them on a bench I think? Or new ones are cheap. I'd always go electronic ignition and a new coil as only cost about £40 ish and easy to fit and reliable
 
Hi Chris and welcome to the madhouse:D I dont think we've seen you van before - any chance of some pics:)
All the above but check the fuel pump, and filter if you have one, for debris first. Sometimes a filter in the engine compartment isn't a good idea as it acts as a heat sink and can vapourise the fuel. Try pouring some cold water over the pump and carb the next time it happens, if it is fuel vapour lock then this might show it up.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Fault turned out to be the coil. Van sweet as a nut again
