Its Charlottes birthday today,

for months now I have been asking her what she wants for her birthday,
every time she replied "dont get me anything, I just want a card"

so guess what, I got her a card......

apparantly these strange and fickle beasts dont mean what they say - and I have to nip out lunchtime to rescue the situation

Last year we kept asking Grace and got the reply 'No idea'. So I did just that, bought a stuffed Deer and took out the eyes. When she opend it, she looked puzzled, I said "That's what you asked for, a 'No Eye Deer' ":D

LOL !! :) Ok, first lesson lads.... always, always buy pressies for birthdays, anniversarys, xmas, and valentines, even if told not to! simple really!!! if you want to earn brownie points, fresh flowers are an added bonus, (not from the garage up the road!!) and surprise tickets for theatre, cinema, concert, show or festival. You can't go wrong......:):) P.S my husband bought me some measuring spoons for my birthday (I can't cook!), very practical, its the thought that counts I know, though it was hard to hide my disappointment!! :):):)

Think romantic rather than practical, or both, just don't leave the romantic bit out!!:)
 
the glaze buster for honing the cylinder bores on the Dog has just been delivered, I reckon with a bit of fancy wrapping paper and a ribbon I have a winner!
